Weather Diminished the Event
Billy Joel was great as usual, but the sound during Stevie Nicks was not great. We could barely understand the lyrics and mostly couldn't understand when she spoke.
For what I thought was a covered venue, it was disappointing to be rained on in our expensive seats. When asking at customer service (or whatever name they use at Sofi) about it, they offered to have someone come and dry our seats but they already helped as many people as they could so they couldn't help us now.
Also, when both performers comment on how cold it was, including Stevie Nicks going backstage several times to add layers of clothing, something needs to be done to raise the comfort level.
Even though some of this was due to the weather, I don't know that I will ever want to go to an event at Sofi Stadium again.
NICKS AND JOEL A MUST SEE
LOVED LOVED LOVED THEIR PERFORMANCE. SIMPLY OUTSTANDING. NICKS BROUGHT PEOPLE TO TEARS WITH HER TRIBUTE TO HER PAL McVIE. BILLY BLEW THE HOUSE AWAY HITTING THOSE HIGH NOTES LIKE NOTHING... I COULD SEE THEM BOTH AGAIN AND AGAIN. DID NOT LIKE SOFI AT ALL.. HAVE A BAD ANKLE, HAD TO WALK THE RAMPS ALL THE WAY DOWN THE FIELD LEVEL AND NOT ONE PERSON OFFERED TO HELP ME. IT MUST'VE TAKEN ME 45 MINS TO GET DOWN THOSE RAMPS. LINES TREMENDOUSLY LONG FOR OVERPRICED LIQUOR AND PIZZA. WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS VENUE AGAIN.
